I used to wear heels often in high school, where the girls often dressed up like we were going to brunch and then almost never in college because it was impractical to go out in heels when horrendous parking demands walking long distances.
Now I'm trying to get a feel for how many ladies regularly go out in heels. Is it a totally typical or even expected sight? Or does it just look like you're trying too hard?
I recently purchased these 5 inchers, mainly for modeling purposes, but wonder how many ladies take on such serious heels on a regular basis. Thoughts?
I never wear flat shoes. They're not comfortable to me. There has to be some slope (be it 1/2"), even if we're talking about flip-flop type footwear.
On a regular basis I wear shoes with 3-3 1/2" heels. 4" is already pushing it for all-day wear and extensive walking, unless they're platform shoes and have a thick front platform as well.
Often and 4" is my most common heel, but if I'm going out with my husband, then it's usually 5-6". My preference is 4-5". I can still function with my 3 kids in 4" or a 5" on platform.
I just had to return two pairs of the Jessica Simpson Francesa pumps (I ordered black and nude) because they were too small. I ended up purchasing these instead: Stuart Weitzman Just got these shoes this fall as well: Diplille and Boaswoon
Stuart Weitzman is my go-to man. He's the only one that makes decent high heels in my size. All the other designers don't make size 12s, well not true to size 12s. (Their 42s are more like 10s or 11s.)

Yowch! You do pay to wear heels, huh? I feel pretty lucky to wear size 8.5. I had a roommate who was also 6'0 and she struggled to find cute shoes in a size 11.

I very rarely wear them. Mostly when I have to go to special occasions. Sometimes I'll feel like getting fancy when I go out with friends. Not too high of a heal though.
How can anyone buy something which has a celebrity name attached to it?
Anyone knows if they sell Danny DeVito boxers
