So youre afraid ppl might be disgusted? Who cares? Its impolite to stare for one thing. I do understand what youre saying and if i were in your shoes i might do the same thing.

News flash, not everyone has vericose veins. Mine started in my mid20s. I'm 43 now. Hoping I can finally get them lasered next year. They cause blood pooling around the ankles causing a purple splotchy area to form that looks almost like a huge bruise.
This is a good link to varicose vein treatment options for those who want more information.
my grandmother had them so i do know what they look like. of course just to make nice i did look at some images. Hers werent quite as bad as some so i guess it depends on the person. However the old adage of "its impolite to stare" still holds true. I dont care much for seeing overweight ppl but they dont all stay at home refusing to come out to make me happy.

What if men started to wear heels and shaved their legs?
Hello!...
Your about 3 decades to late...men did wear heals, or 'platforms' in the 1970's disco era...when males had much more fashion range, than they do now...
Society has really taken on a female centered sense of beauty since around the late 80's...with grunge and the rise of hip-hop...(which both kind of came about at the same time)
I guess it was a back lash to all the hair bands of the 80's...
But anyhow...yes, males weren't always so restricted in how they could dress...and still be considered 'straight'...
And as far as 'What if men started wearing heals?'...
Exibit 1...Prince...one of the original 'metrosexuals'...before the term was even invented...Prince has alway been way ahead of the times...
Prince has sported heals since way back...the 80's...
But I think originally it had more to do with his short height than fashion...
Todays males, who are forced to wear baggy long shorts, and tenni shoes, have no idea the freedoms, the fashion freedoms, males of a few decades ago use to enjoy...or the range they had...
There were guys who dressed for summer, and differently for the slightly cooler season, meaning jeans.
There were guys who wore shorts EVERY day of the school year, except maybe when it rained.
The latter group was showing off.
