Round toes started being trendy again a few years back. The first time I got a pair of Skechers flats with them it did take me awhile to love the look but now most of my shoes are either rounded or slightly squared off. I wouldn't wear pointy if you paid me. That was me 20+ yrs ago and the bloom is off that rose.

Pointed toes in any style have never been my taste and never will be, regardless of trending in and out. Just not a preference.

I think you might like the ones from ALDO, even though they cost more than $40. But you can also look at DSW - they have a huge variety.

Here are some kinds you might like. i don't wear flats a lot myself but these are the only kind I'll wear-
