Not refering to "leather circles" like motorcyclists or rock stars, but just normal ppl who like to wear leather jackets on a day-to-day basis?

Is it considered urbane-looking in your opinion? Is it a popular style where you live? do people in Southern areas where leather jackets for regular purpose (again not refering to the niche markets)?

I have fashion-y leather jackets. I've noticed people wearing them before.

Some people can pull them off, but they aren't as in now as they were years back. I am an urban guy and I only have one leather jacket that I rarely wear. I prefer the thin leather jackets over layers of clothing and necklaces if I'm going out and about. I'll post a picture next time I decide to throw the outfit together.

i think it depends on the texture of the leather. i used to wear an old rawhide jacket, and I would wear that still, if I found a good/inexpensive one.

But "shiny" leather? Nah, not for me. Works fine for slash, though.

They run the gamut from cool and attractive to dated and ugly. It really depends on the jacket. And the wearer.

Right at this moment, I think they'd look a little silly because it's about 65 degrees out.

I like leather jackets, particularly brown. I live in the south and I wear it out often, though mine is fake. A friend of mine has an Italian leather jacket that she wears often and it looks great.

All in all, pro-leather jackets here.
