I use the regimen from acne.org which is somewhat like proactive (I think) but check it out. Wash with gentle cleanser, apply lots of 2.5% benzoyl peroxide and let it dry on your face, then moisturize. Works for me, good luck!

The other half of the lemon can be used as a scrubber in the morning. Just cover the cut side with sea salt (fine grain, mortons makes one now you can get at the grocery store for cheap) and use that as a scrub/acid to help get off dead skin too. It really makes your skin feel soft and smells great. You can use grapefruit or limes too.

OP, what exactly is your regimen now? What do you use, how often, etc.

i dont have sound to hear that. she looks fine now. there are always the risk of side effects, but i took accutane and know others and the only real side was dry skin. its pretty amazing to take a drug that actually solves the problem. you can mess with other stuff for many years and i dont think they do anything.

^^last resort

Hey Lital!

What is your routine? Do you exfoliate?
Try products like Image, Dermalogica, etc. Those other things (proactive etc) are crap. They just dry out your skin MORE, and are full of benzoyl peroxide.

These were only the visible side effects at the time. You'll likely pay for it in one form or another down the road. When you wonder what hit you some day, remember it. Nobody should take a drug with 2 pages of horrible side effects unless they have a life-threatening disease, but hey... if vanity and speed of recovery are more important to somebody, so be it.
