Depends on the guy, the scarf and how he is wearing. I saw a guy a few weeks ago with a scarf, and he was super stylish. It went well with his outfit, and I was impressed. He had a sporty jacket (like an adidas jacket) + scarf and slimmer jeans, and fancy sneaks.

I have seen other people, and it looks pretentious.

The pejorative use of "gay" needs to be outlawed, like other famed words.

You see how that CNN idiot got fired for tweeting gay slurs. That's where the public opinion is progressing anyway. Even Beck called him an idiot. You know you lost it when not only the whole world is against you, but also Beck.

Soon it will be an asterisked, frowned-upon word used pejoratively only by neanderthals, hillbillies and rednecks.

Nah, because "manly" men don't mind it when they are told they "NEED" or should be doing something "unmanly".

Beck called him out because he wears scarves too and he isn't gay.

There's nothing manly about a man who says: "This is so gay" blah blah blah... I hear this from dudes, often times.

It's nothing but absolute ignorance and educational lag. And a sub-conscious projection of sexual orientational insecurity and doubt.

That fact that its part of an "outfit" makes it gay.

I generally like scarves. I would never begrudge a guy the ability to keep the back of his neck warm. It's like scoffing at someone for having dorky mittens.

Those thin, trendy scarves worn as fashion accessories? They can work on young, thin, fashionable people.

It's all what you wear and how you wear it. We can tell the difference. Color and type have a lot to do with that. And our wives, girlfriends or Mommys didn't pick it out for us! Amazon.com: 8537 Tactical Scarf Olive Drab: Beauty
