Is this thread only for men? I didn't read it all so I don't know what directions it may have gone in.
I have a tattoo. It isn't in a place people can see.
I don't regret it. I got it for my first husband. He was seriously straight-laced but had this one desire to see a tattoo on his wife. (Don't ask.) I had considered getting one anyway just for the heck of it so I went ahead and did it. It's not very big, and now it's faded, but I don't mind it a bit.
If the OP's son wants "Satan Loves You" inked across his eyelids that might ultimately present a problem (or might not, who knows) but if it's just some not-huge ink that means something to him? I don't know...I would probably have to know what it was to approve it for my kids but I don't think I'd keep them from doing it if it wasn't some horrific skinhead thing or something (it never would be with my kids, but you get the idea). Or if he wanted to get his tongue forked or something, not that that isn't cool.
The OP says it's sort of large...I don't know...is it the entire forearm or something? You know? There are a lot of "it depends" stipulations that probably apply here.
