I would say on the plain side, but she's a great dresser has a nice smile and a firm bod, so I would give her high marks for fitness. I think Reagans wife was pretty attractive in her day but she wasn't a Marylin Monroe, Vanessa Williams or even a Joan Collins. I'm thinking Natalie Woods "type" as being a beautiful first lady.
I beg to differ, Nancy was romantically linked to Clark Gable, and we all know he had a thing for the hotties!

The major difference between Michelles pic and the others is that clearly she is talking,and the others are still,or posing. So you lose there.
That James Brown attempt is pretty pathetic and lame.
I can find 5 men who I claim to look like Laura Bush, for example, considering she is the last FL. No offence to her, I like her too, but for other reasons like her social work.
Some people just can not separate their politics from these opinions.

I didn't bother to check on her links until later. That James Brown attempt is awful. Whoever made that and even those who endorse that kind of garbage should be ashamed. Reflects on their level of education. Comparing a woman to a man is an unforgivable insult.
Here's an old picture. Probably less to no make-up at all. She has distinctive facial features which are aesthetically considered pretty.
I think she is the first FL any normal person can relate with. So far, everybody had always looked New England country clubbish. You know those rich and fat cat white dames who are SO reserved and speak about uplifting Africa, the Amazon, Tibet and the penguins in Antarctica. All of them played by the same good wife playbook.
