I see all these ads about these mysterious things called black-heads, or pore-tightening face washes or something like that...at first it was only aimed at women but now men. Women will be aghast because they have black-heads or 'white worms' but many men don't notice it.
I'm sure wondering how most men these days take care of their skin, their 'beauty routine' so to speak.
As of now I just use face wash and moisturizer, I tend to have dry skin. Nothing really else. Ladies do you think I should use anything else? I don't see it as essential and sometimes wondering if some of this is just advertising. I wouldn't be opposed to anything to help make my skin less dry/flaky and maybe help tighten my pores.
As for my body I use moisturizing shower gel/lotions...I have used moisturizing lotion before, applied after having a shower, which I found did help with my dry skin.
How many guys here get facials? Is it mainly metro or dare I say gay men who do it? I've done it perhaps once, just to see what the fuss was about. I think we're in the weird position of not knowing how much we should do to take care of our skin. I'm still young, so wrinkles etc are not a problem (not that I see them as a huge issue anyway).
I've used this daily in the shower once a day for years. It takes off grease, oil, GSR/powder, lead and dirt. I like it and it's cheap at Wal-Mart! Clearasil Stayclear Oil-Free Daily Face Wash
St. Ives apricot scrub is the best. I've been using it for almost 5 years now. I used to just use soap alone or use a wash cloth, but the exfoliation is the best thing you can do to your skin.
