I think men atually have a broader range for physical attractiveness-western society is accepting of them being middle aged and beyond (as opposed to women, who are only considered appealing when under the age of 25). Men are expected to carry their "aging" more naturally as well (graying, wrinkles), while women are expected to start botox at 30.
"Sexy" is not just how one looks, how large one's breasts are or how long the legs. It's the energy one excudes, the confidence, the way they carry themselves. The 'whole package'.
I think it's changing for women too, which I'm glad of. More older celebs in their 30s, 40s, 50s or even 60s are still spunky, sexy and beautiful. Not all of them resort to cosmetic surgery either. More and more men seem to appreciate the more mature women as well. 25? Maybe 35. Plenty of women peak in their late 20s or early 30s. It's a fallacy to think ALL women are at their prime in their early 20s.
GSP is the one I can never figure out. He's probably the largest welterweight at 5' 10" 170 pounds. Someone of his build SHOULD be close to 200. I don't know where it all goes. I know he cuts to get down to welterweight class. I bet he walks around at 185-195ish. He must sweat a hell of a lot of water before weigh in. That's all I have to say. Either that or he has little bones. Big boned or bone structure adds weight. Redirect Notice
Who cares if a nice looking woman of an average body wants a man a little on the beefy or buffed up side. Some of us were big boned to start with. I started to get my shoulders when I was about twelve or thirteen. I have a physical job that keeps me in good shape, as well as going to the gym to pump iron on the side. NO!! I don't shave my chest, legs, arms or anything like that. BTW, that was a knock off of a classic "country guy" tune!

Annika, that Adele person looks like typical potato vendor on Russian market, somewhere in Izmailovo.
(Even if they packaged her nicely and slapped a bow on a package. )

She's definitely obese. Aesthetically beautiful? No way. She's not ugly but she is definitely not "attractive" either. What I find absolutely funny though, is if you say something even remotely negative about Adele, her fat fans would attack you with more ferver than if you said something positive about Michael Vick.

and we've been through this a million times.
Because she should be judged on her voice, not her looks.

You draw the conclusions. The 'ideal man' and woman are both not average, but a woman can be 'hot' while doing less.
Hot male bodies are mostly with muscle.
Hot female bodies are either very skinny look, or toned look.
I don't think there really, is a double standard on what is most of the time found attractive (in a body).
