Nope. Diamonds do nothing for me. Neither does Yellow Gold which I loathe.
I love Silver, Pewter, Pearls, Opals, Moonstones and Aquamarines when it comes to Jewellery.
Preferably recycled /antique ones so there is no heavy environmental/ethical price attached to it.

I love those stones also. My birthstone is emerald which has always been my favorite stone and color - color of my hubby's eyes. My kid's birthstones are ruby and sapphire which also works out nicely for me. Hubby buys me jewelry with these 3 meaningful stones.
I do have some diamond/platinum jewelry I love (only wear diamonds with silver/platinum, not yellow gold). I like pearls too.
Chicago Field Museum has a breathtaking display of gems. I go just to gaze at their beauty!

The special meaning is nice
Definitely no yellow gold here. platinum/white gold is good!
I also don't like those rock type rings...(common engagement ring type). Would get in my way too much..
