women are very needy of compliments. i am a member of a forum that is fitness centered. we post pictures of ourselves every now and then. i remember a woman mentioning that she didnt want to feed my ego. i was just amazed at the sentiment. women are complimented multiple times a day. they want everyone to notice their hair, clothes, nails, face, etc. etc. they want their husbands to regularly compliment them. how often do men get compliments? after my mom and my mother in law, compliments are few and far between for me. so im used to not getting any compliments, i can handle it. but the sentiment that a compliment would feed my ego, coming from a woman, seemed ridiculous to me.
