Yeah, I think it is, when I visited Italy and Sicily, I saw alot of it.

Well, I can only talk for the Germans I know but I don't know any woman (at least < 40) who doesn't shave her armpits. I cannot imagine being that hairy but anyone as he/she pleases...

Until moving to Texas last spring, I RARELY shaved my armpits or legs. Most of my friends think I am nuts but since my DH doesn't complain I don't give it much thought. Now that I am going sleeveless and wearing shorts much of the time, I shave out of courtesy for others, and honestly I still only do it twice a month. My mother wouldn't let me even try shaving until I was 14 and since I rarely do, my hair grows in VERY slowly. BTW the DH does not find my arm pit hair sexy at all, he just looks away.

Well, it is sexier, more feminine, IMHO, for 'em to be shaven, but... I figure if she has to look and feel mine in those areas, ifin she had the same such would not be a reason to be disinterested. Matter of fact a good friend in college of mine had such - her personality made such a non-issue. I agree - I think that shaving such areas is more of an American cultural item. And all things considered, sexier and better and smoother... But again, not the main item.

Thats were i saw my first female with unshaven underarms.I was stationed in hanuau,germany & at first i didnt quite understand why but as time went on it didnt bother me.I spent 2 wonderful yrs in germany & i sure miss the "openness" & publc park/pools full & particial nudity.I once went to france on leave & lets just say..."WOW"! BTW crew chief..Im a bit jealous but smooth shaven legs is a must.I just cant rub stubble or hairy legs on a female.

ug this brings back memories of when I used to teach sailing a billion years ago, and a Swedish woman came for a lesson with what I think was a mullet under her arm and hairier legs than me. Suffice to say I still havent gotten over it....

I heard years ago, that in Germany and such only prostitutes shave fully,don't know if it is true,just what I heard.
