I shave 90% of my body hair off. I shave my arm pits because I notice that my deodorant seems to apply itself more directly to the skin and can function better as a result as opposed to formerly having much of the anti-perspirant just getting stuck in the hair. I shave my chest and stomach because I'm working on my six-pack, pecs, and generally toning up my body, and hair tends to cover up your definition, thereby negating all of the hard work you invested into your physique. I shave my back because, well, it's just GROSS! Like HobokenGuy, I also keep the "lower-level landscaping" very well manicured. I'm Italian, so my arms and legs are hairy like apes, but I notice that people seem to like my hairy limbs for some odd reason, so I keep them that way.

Well, I was going to leave those up to one's imagination, but let's just say that they're also taken care of.
