Has anyone ever trimmed their eyelashes to stimulate growth? I read that this works, but have never known anyone to actually do it. Does it work? And why?

Where did you read that?
There is a good reason you "have never known anyone to actually do it."...
Well..due to my hair being a jerko I am going to start taking biotin again. It did make my lashes, brows and head hair thicker. My body stuff grew faster but silkier so I had less shaving irritations. Which is good because who likes to look like a mad monkey pit scratchin eh? Its cheap too:
I did have seizures when I was younger but I do not have a problem/complication with taking the biotin now. But I outgrew the seizures. I took(take) the 1000 mgs/day.

Don't do it. You never want to put anything sharp anywhere near your eyeball. Think about the injuries you might suffer vs any benefit you may realize. Personally I do not see how cutting your eyelashes would stimulate their growth at all. Proper nutrition, yes. Scissors, no.
