I've just got an invitation to go to a dinner social gathering where I need to to dress very nicely. However I am extremely upset. Again I will need to spend so much time to find a dress where I will look at least ok. I have a full figure that's why it is extremely hard on behalf of me to find plus party dresses which I will actually like. It looks like full-size women need to dress in just-whatever gowns all the time. I actually want that finding a gown for me was trouble-free and enjoyable. If you are plump, you know exactly what I mean. Can you please tell me where I should find a nice plus size party dresses for a reasonable cost? I would be grateful for your advice a lot

Try your local bridal shops. They have access to a lot of gowns that you won't find on the typical department store racks and the ability to get them in all sizes and colors.

A bridal shop is a great option.

Most plus-size shops carry mostly sportswear (aka casual clothing) and are really lacking in both professional clothing and dresses. Pretty sad. I used to buy dresses at the larger department stores, but it was a frustrating process and I've noticed the selections are not what they used to be. It's not easy to find a decent dress in misses' sizes these days, either, but finding anything in plus sizes is always twice as difficult.

Take a look at igigi.com. They have a nice selection of cocktail and evening dresses.

Bridal shop, Dress Barn, Cato other than that I don't know. I don't do plus sizes any longer but I used to and I know how hard it is to find something that does not make you look like orca in a muumuu on the beach.

I've never understood why plus sizes are either badly cut sausage casings or Tents From Omar. Why can't we have something that fits nicely.

Lane Bryant
Maurices
Dress Barn

They can be somewhat prices (over $30 at least) but you can usually find some sort of coupon to print off.
