Default Women with tattoos: Major turn-off!

Just got back from Chicago, one of my favorite cities and it was great. I decided to hit a few places I really like, Lincoln Park and some of the Lake Michigan beaches.

What I don't understand: Absolutely beautiful girls in their late teens or early 20's and their bodies totally disfigured with some tacky, disgusting looking tattoos? What the hell is going on?

At first, I thought, this was more of a Des Moines thing, because we are smaller and definitely have a large segment of the population that is a bit on the trashy side, but even in a more cosmopolitan, sophisticated city in Chicago, it is everywhere. I don't get it!

If it is tasteful, pretty and not overdone it can be great.

And not if it's another dude's name!!

I don't like tattoos on women either, but I also don't really care for them on men. Bare skin is best, in my opinion.

I'm not a big tattoo guy, period. Men or women.

One or two small discrete tats are Ok.... Heck.. I have a small one on my upper arm.. can't see it unless my shirt is off.

To see a woman or man, for that matter, with full on sleeves. Just grosses me out... big time.

Worse on a woman.

Sorry... I know it sound sorta sexist.. but women with sleeve tats are just plain nasty looking.

It's all over the place, and it's not limited to artsy or punk girls. You friendly neighborhood kindergarten teacher (you know, the one with the dimples and the rosy cheeks) most likely has a massive tattoo somewhere on her person. I personally don't get the appeal; to me, a woman with a tattoo is like a Bentley with a bumper sticker. The female body is already a work of art, and you cannot improve perfection.

If a girl has one or two tattoos, it's cool. Now if she is tatted up like Lil Wayne or Machine Gun Kelly, nope.

Is it a dealbreaker for you if the women has 2-3 tattoos?

It's sorta funny that this thread came up today. In my city there was a huge tattoo/piercing convention in town.

We were in the general area having lunch with the MIL and parking was a bear.....

Its obviously a subjective thing, but, like you....I find them to reflect more of an immature persona . Ive seen a couple on women that around the leg at ankle level which dont look so obstrusive , but the ones that are plastered on shoulders, around the neck , on arms, or thighs....a little over the top . Plus, im sure many people regret them once they are looking for a job especially in a white collar position that is supposed to emmulate a higher degree of professionalism .
