Okay, one more "what product do you like best" thread...at least for today!
After this forum gets old, I'll calm down!
What about foundation? I have used Clinique products for years. They recently discontinued the one I like best which was a liquid oil-free pore minimizer.
I really like the mineral make-up from Bare Escentuals. It is a powder foundation and you can use a little to even out your skintone, or a lot if you need heavy coverage. It's great stuff, though there is a bit of a learning curve when you first try it out. I buy it at Sephora. It seems expensive, but a $20-odd dollar container lasts me for about a year.
I agree about the mineral make-up. I was hesitant to try it, but I found a place where you could order a free sample and I only had to pay shipping ($3). I thought, "What could it hurt?" Well, I'm about to make my first order. I have been using the tiny little sample for 2 months. It covers and looks more natural than any liquid foundation that I have ever used. It is awesome!
The company I ordered from is Everyday Minerals.com
I've been using origins lately. Although very good mattifying make-up, I think it's clogging my purs a bit more than previous products. I might go back to Clinique. I've always liked their products.
I ditto about Bare Escentuals I've used them for 4 years and never do I get breakouts or skin irritation--I have super sensitive skin. I only wear makeup 2-3 times per week because I have super clear, glowing skin from tons of fruits and veggies in my diet and drinking lots of pure water
The bare minerals system was good for awhile until you start taking pictures. The mineral vail is not good to use when taking pictures. But what I am loving right now and I have never been syked about a product before until now.
After retiring from using MAC products I went to Sephora and someone recommended that I use tinted moisturizer which is fabulous. Will cost about $45 dollars but is great. The one I use is by Laura Mercier...It has SPF20 and is oil free. It has a lightweight but flawless coverage...looks like you have no makeup on at all and you have a dewey finish...
Im impressed
I use three and blend them, Lancome Renergie Lift, Clinique Continuous Coverage and Loreal Visible Lift.
