I once had a sample bottle of that perfume and I constantly had guys telling me how good I smelled. I should get another bottle.

I am mainly a Philosophy girl, also, I have Amazing Grace, Falling in Love and Unconditional Love. However every time I fall in love with a perfume it gets discontinued! My original was Gio by Armani, and that disappeared years ago.

The only ones that are my favorites and are still around are Chloe and Chloe Narcisse and Dior Addict.
LOL Yes, seriously...couldn't figure out what was so naughty about a pi c ka. But whatever I'm glad they haven't discontinued Philosophy's pure grace. They had the huge bottle available a few years back. I think I'll search around and see if it's still for sale. I would usually buy it on QVC but I've been getting the smaller size at Sephora lately.

Does anyone else notice that even some expensive fragrances dont last ? I used to like Opium and Chanel/Coco- because the more Oriental fragrance (less sweet/floral) seems to last longer on me....what other fragrances does everyone like?

The muskier, dark fragrances are something I have always liked.

I believe how long the fragrance lasts depends on how strong all of the notes are. The top notes are the strongest and then the middle and then bottom. You are like me with your preference for the spicey perfumes. I like Opium for evening because of the strong notes. I liked Poison for evening too before it was discontinued. For daytime/work, I prefer Obsession and Elixir Charnel by Guerlain because the notes are not as strong.

Other factors that contribute to perfume dissipating more quickly are body heat. If you like the notes to stay around longer you could try using an "oil" or "perfume" pendant. Instead of wearing the perfume on your body you dip or spray the pendant. The crevices on the pendant hold the fragrance. QVC has a replica of one that Jackie Kennedy wore.
