Well, we have a thread on men's fashion no-no's. What about women's?? I'm hoping to learn something here. (No longer being the young hipster.) What do you consider a fashion faux pas that you sometimes see women wearing?

pantyhose with peep-toe shoes or sandals. *shudder*

spandex pants

uggs with miniskirts or shorts (well, for me uggs in general, but I know you gals love them! I think they are extremely unflattering on pretty much any size girl because they make your legs look short and stocky)

sandals with no pedicure and cracked heels - my eyes can't take it!! Cover that SH*T up!!

Ill fitting pants, underwear, shirt, and any combo of the the three - no one wants to see the outlines of someone's jean taco or gunt

black lipliner and lighter lipstick

tight clothes

panty lines

camel toe

any bra straps at all, also thongs peeking up from lowrise jeans
(might be showing my age here)

Clothing that is inappropriate for where it is worn:

Work-out clothes, belly shirts and/or muffin tops, bathing suit, flip-flops at a fine restaurant.
(I'm not talking about wearing this stuff at a casual place on the beach, but at a nicer, white tablecloth restaurant, I don't care how toned, pedicured or manicured your body is. When I am dining, I don't want to see your abdomen--especially if it is pierced.)

Clothing that is inappropriate for the age of its wearer:

I am a size 6,115 lbs, in really good shape, but I am 52 years old.
I am not going to go off and sit in a rocking chair wearing a tent-like dress with clodhopper granny shoes, however,I am not going to display a lot of cleavage, leg or wear tons of makeup. To me, one of the worst mistakes women my age make is to wear a whole lot of makeup, blusher etc.
Some is wonderful (and helpful!) but too much makes you look like an aging hooker.
Which brings me to my next fashion complaint:
Little girls who wear clothing/makeup meant for someone older.
To me this is really sad. Ten and twelve year olds in thongs is awful.
This is almost more a sociological situation than a fashion disaster.
