Anyone else a fan?

I have a collection of over 100, and I like buying them when I see nice ones. I think they look especially cute with a crop top and pair of stylish jeans.

I'm a fan

I figure I'll get sick of it eventually, as I don't want to be middle aged with a belly ring, but at this point I still think it's cute and draws attention to a nice part of my body.

Only downside for me is that I'm allergic to cheap metals and, while the bar is usually made of surgical steel, the charms on either end are not. I've been wearing the same one with plastic charms for a couple years now and it is well past time for a new one (or ten).

I still have mine! I got it when I was 18 and 10 years later it's still there. I like it. I don't have plans to take it out anytime soon!

I used to have the same problem- my body was rejecting the cheaper metals for a good while. But now it seems that most types of belly jewelry are ok (I haven't had any side effects recently).

As far as being middle-aged with a belly ring...as long as you have the abs for it, it shouldn't matter. Heck, I'll be 40 next year and I don't plan on taking mine out! I even wear midriff shirts regularly to accentuate it

I love mine too and don't want to take it out. Do you plan to leave it in even after you have kids (if you decide to have any)?

Man, I wish this allergy would go away. I'm not sure it's the same as my body rejecting a piercing, though. It's something I developed shortly after getting my ears pierced and these days I can't have any metal against my skin for more than a few hours before I break out into an itchy rash. No watches, no rings, no earrings. It really puts a cramp in my accessorizing abilities.

I had one years ago, but as I have gotten older I thought it looked a little cheap and as if I was desperately holding on youth. I think they are cute on younger girls though.

I'd rather see the navel by itself than with a ring. That's just me...
