I'm confused with your reply to the other poster. maybe, a post was deleted or edited.

I myself get my hair done professionally a few times a week [2-4x]. Its a very common practice for the girl on the go who has a active work and social schedule.

The Hair industry professionals have been marketing the blow and go, dry bar concept for a few years in major cosmopolitan cities. It has become a very lucrative business for. www.myblowla.com here is a example.

As per showering I take two a day, unless, I have a social engagement or involved with a activity during the day that caused me to sweat and or feel sticky or uncomfortable.

Sophistication, Is not just how you look outside but who you are within. It's a quality of refinement, a display of good taste and social etiquette.

Let's not forget elegance, ladies. Few women understand elegance these days. I went to the theatre recently and was one in 2 women who dressed appropiately.
I think there is a very definite internal characteristic/personality that lends to sophistication.

Typically, most people make do on their own with trips to the salon ever 6-18 weeks or so, depending on their hair length and whether or not they color it.

On the converse, many african-american women, irrespective of income level, visit the salon once a week or biweekly.

Your schedule is extremely atypical.

Needing to go to the salon multiple times a week to look/feel presentable is high maintenance. Showering 3 times every day is high maintenance.

Just sayin', that was one of the specific items listed in the OP as not sophisticated.

Showering three times a day PLUS a daily salon/wash/blowdry is absurd.

It is also very regional. Very few high income women in the Bay Area follow this sort of beauty routine.
