I can only stand to wear shorter wedges until I figure out how to walk in heels. Standing in one position with heels may look attractive, but when you have to walk like a duck because your heels are too high it kind of defeats the purpose :P

Although I love the look of open toe, I find in practice that my feet slide too far forward in them and my toes are screaming in pain by the end of a couple of hours in any heel over 2" high. In closed toes, I don't get that result.

I top out at about 3 inches. These new school heels that are 6 inches with platforms are ridiculous! I try them on and laugh at how unsecure I feel.

I love high heels/platforms/wedges. I generally don't even consider shoes with a heel under 4".

Inserts prevent that.

As for me, I get cute pedicures, so I like open toed to show them off.

Size 5 so it's hard for me to buy high heels. I only wear them on special occasion (wedding, sometimes to church, and anything that is less walk and more sitting lol). I do wear my wedges since it has more support.

I like heels, but don't get to wear them as often as I used to. My preference is 2-3" but 4" is my max. Wedges are ok, but I prefer stilettos and stacked heels (high wedges can be heavy/chunky). Ideally, no platform; but if so, no more than an inch. (It's "cheating.")

I don't care if the toes are open/closed, but strappy sandals look elegant, and all my boots have heels.

I think high heels look great, so amazingly feminine and sexy. I wish this was the era where most women wore them.

Just hearing the "clickity clack" sound of heels on a floor is exciting. Heels bring out the submissive side of me. I want to respect and obey a lady in heels...she is the boss.
