My mother bought me my first pair of high heels when I was 14. I wore high heels for most of my adult life (when I wasn't wearing roller skates). Dr. Oz notwithstanding, I have osteoarthritis in both of my thumbs. I fail to see the correlation.

I debated the effectiveness of medical information against fashion hype to see if real information would help some women resist peer pressure to wear the devil shoe known as high heels.
It's a long shot I know but maybe, just maybe............
I love my high heels. I also love platforms and wedges. Me personally, I never drive wearing them I have Tod's driving shoe I keep in my car. I carry a pair of Repetto ballet flats, I change into when I am strolling the streets.
I wear heels becasue they are beautiful, make my legs look awesome, compliment my clothing, make me feel super sexy, and I love shoes.
Sometimes I will put on a fancy pair at home and just wear them around.
I love heels, I think they make women look sexy and feminine. Unfortunately, I have a lot of problems with my feet and can only wear them if I know I will not be standing/walking much. There are just so many gorgeous shoes out there to choose from!!!!

I agree, it certainly wasn't my intention. I am no creep I have a lot of respect for women. I was making a joke because the idea of a woman being 6'4" on high heels sound amazing an I am sure a lot of men would be somewhat intimidated. In all seriousness I think women are God's greates creationand I love a lady who takes great pride in looking her best. But back to.the subject I forgot to ask, do you ladies prefer closed high heel shoes or open ones?
Closed. But I always have a pedicure, so the peep toe heels can be very pretty. IF a woman takes care of her feet.
I think high heels look great, so amazingly feminine and sexy. I wish this was the era where most women wore them.
Just hearing the "clickity clack" sound of heels on a floor is exciting. Heels bring out the submissive side of me. I want to respect and obey a lady in heels...she is the boss.

Yes shoes are just a part of it. When a woman looks pretty,sexy, glam etc. she gains a certain kind of power. They try to teach girls the opposite is true but you can't change human nature.
don't wear them. would rather be comfortable. don't care if men like it or not on women.
