Navy Bathing Suit by CheekyVintageCloset on Etsy

What do you think of these sort of outfits, that seemed popular in the 1920s-30s for both men and women?

What do you think of the idea of unisex swimwear for men and women?

In the US it seems they're prudish about women being topless and men showing thigh. What if men and women both just wear brief/bikini bottoms?

They were the norm for that era.

this kind of swimwear for women is mostly viewed as old fashioned or whatever especially for the young set. I don't swim a lot but I wear that kind of retro swimwear. As always, I don't care if men like it or they don't. They're not the ones who have to wear it. I mostly see women in a lot less material. Obviously men like the skimpier bikinis, monokinis on women. What else is new.
