I think that is how most of these women got "fat" to begin with. They started the whole yo-yo thing young and ruined their metabs. They are clueless as to how to recapture it, so they are busy trying to convince the world they are curvy, and anyone who is slender is unhealthy. It's a weird dynamic.

WOMEN!!!! Dieting is what made you fat to begin with!!! Calorie resrtiction slows the metab down, but if you have already ruined your metab, you'll have to rev it up or even with more calorie restriction you will just keep getting fatter and fatter!

Eat every 2-3 hours! Exercise at least 20 minutes after at least 2 of your meals. Re-train your metab!! Stop expecting to have real "curves"/small waist, etc. if your family gene pool obviously exhibits more towards apple. If you weren't born with that type shape, no amount of diet and/or exercise is going to give it to you!

Don't live in denial, but live in accepting whatever true body shape you have. Eat and live healthy! Healthy is sexy!

Do men understand the meaning of short? The word appears to not exist in their vocabulary...

I should have clarified...it's not about looks, but if someone says "I'm trustworthy" or "I'm not selfish"...it usually means they are. You can't tell that by looking at a picture and it's not worth the risk to find out otherwise.

If someone described themeself as having an "athletic body type" however, I'd just view the pics.

As if we dont have enough of PC crap in todays lives. Stop buying into the brainwashing and social conditioning, drop the PC crap and say whats really on your mind.
I think you read my post wrong. I'm saying the exact same thing, we should drop the PC bs.

I think "curvy" is highly subjective. Just as "average" is - I never realized beer guts were "average," but apparently, they're all the rage.

I am carting around some extra pounds, but I'm not plus-sized and my exercise/diet regime means I'm continually getting smaller. I put down "curvy." I've got boobs and ass, and that's what I'm trying to imply.

A lot of dating sites don't have a 'fat/overweight' option, I think, so many of these women have no choice but to put 'curvy.' Virtually every woman who describes herself as 'curvy' on a dating site seems to be at least a bit overweight.

Believe it or not, eating every 2 or 3 hours, or making sure to eat breakfast or any of this other traditional advice, is compeltely wrong. According to latest detailed studies at least. They found that meal frequency makes no difference at all, in relation to weight gain/loss or metabolism itself. people who eat once a day, mirror results of those that eat 6 times a day. Its a simple equation of calories in/calories out. I agree with you on calorie decreases and yoyo nature of diets though. the less you consume, the slower your metabolism. If someone consumes low amount of calories daily, it is actualy benefitial to pig out one day a week, to kick the metabolism back up. Many zig zag calories as well, and consume different amounts of calories every day, in order to keep your body and your metabolism "guessing" as to what the consumption will be each day.

gotcha, lol. However, to play devil's advocate, when i see things in the profile that say things like "im not into playing games" or " I dont like drama", i tend to think exactly the opposite of the person saying it about themselves. Or a guy stating that he isnt insecure for example.

Name them and post them (lady-obviously)!!

Au contraire!!!!! That's utterly B.S.!!! Countless studies have said/shown otherwise.

Feel free to copy and post a list of those recent studies.

When you name more than one, I'll eat my shorts!
