Do women understand the meaning of Curvy? (girls, light, fashion)

Women of all body different body types can be attractive. However so many especially on online dating sites abuse the use of the term curvy, when if you just look at the pics it is obvious they are overweight. I am not saying women misrepresent themselves the most, but usually they state they are curvy when they are actually overweight. If you do not have an hourglass figure you are not curvy.
So women it is ok to mention that you are full figured or overweight, because most women don't really have curves.
dating sites are meant to attract people not turn them away (not that some people dont find heavy girls attractive). this is why you will see heavy girls describe themselves in this way.
I blame the media honestly. There's a large thread about "curvy" girls in the fashion&beauty forum. You might be interested in seeing what some people think "curvy" means. Curvy has become a euphemism for "fat" or "plus-size" rather than as a woman that has an hour glass shape and a sexy body. People abuse the term and it's unfortunate. I've always felt like a good representative of curvy women are women like Kim K, Beyonce, Christina Milian, Jessica Simpson(when she was smaller), and Nia Long. None of these women are plus-size or fat. They tend to be on the "average" or "normal" weight range, but they have curves.
But I do want to add that it is possible for a woman to be plus-size and be hour glass--so some of these women MAY actually be curvy and plus-size and their simply being honest when they describe themselves as curvy. However I agree that there are influx of women calling themselves curvy when they aren't. I do notice that this tends to happen a lot amongst women that are either fat or plus-size.
But I don't really blame these women for referring to themselves in the way they do, because the media started that movement that "plus-size" is the equivalent of "curvy", and it's constantly perpetuated which leads women that don't have the "curves" to say they do.
No one likes to put "Overweight" on their profile. Who cares if fat girls want to put curvy on their profile, it doesn't hurt anyone.
From what I've seen in that other thread, what most of these "non curvy" women call fat, is NOT fat at all. Skin and bones is more like it. It's gross and you can tell they don't/won't eat. Too many q****bates and magazines publishing BS about what men like. I blame it on that.
