I've been skinny (around 115 lbs at 6'1) and fat (around 240 lbs) and I'd choose being fat over being skinny, even though I got far more attention and people were nicer to me as an underweight skinny woman.

I actually did have a few people ask me if I was a model...and I never quite understood why. I basically looked like a guy (no butt, no boobs, no hips, and you could count all my ribs) and still to this day I don't get why so many men were into the 'bony' look.
I think it's pretty detrimental to both sexes to hold up fake photos as examples of beauty. It's like slapping down every woman who doesn't look like Jessica rabbit. Everyone ends up leaving unhappy.
