I've got a college friend who's now a middle school english teacher in one of the outlying areas of DC and just looking at pics of her with her students it seems that AE/Hollister is still in fashion. But Obey and Neff seems to have gained traction too, even among the non-skater kids. However i haven't noticed the neo-preppy look among tweeners (with button-down collar's & Top-siders that's become oh so trendy among NY & Washington 20-something yuppies) but it may filter down to them eventually.
