In the north, white was after memorial day, then put to bed on Labor day. That was the north. Winter white was fine. In the sunshine state, it is summer year round, therefore,
where what makes you feel good. Here you wear sandals almost year round, or if you go on a cruise, white always in, shows of the tan. Even up North to extend summer we still wore white.

It really depends what it is. I wouldn't wear white pants and white flip flops in november. But dark jeans and a white sweater would still be cute.

I'm not much for wearing white anyway, so I don't really care about what fashion dictates one do with white.

Although, I do believe that if someone showed up at my office in a white linen suit in the middle of a Chicago winter, I'd think they were missing a few marbles

Funny, I was running around this morning getting ready to run some errands and grocery shop, I had on denim capris and when I grabbed a pair of shoes, they were white sandals It struck me that it was October, and the white sandals should be in the back of the closet. But, hey it was also about 86 degrees..No one here is in much of a fall fashion mood yet

Around here in Missouri, I am from St. Louis, no white after Labor Day. I have worn a white jacket over a black or dark blue outfit and didn't feel as if I was breaking any rules. Never white shoes around here in winter tho'.

Absolutely! Just can't bring myself to do it.

Exception: Winter white can be worn between Thanksgiving or Christmas and Valentine's Day.

We wear white all year long here in the Virgin Islands. It is too hot to bother with that particular fashion rule. Come join us, you will agree!

If it's clean and it fits comfortably I'll wear just about anything.

That being said, I don't normally wear white anyway since I'm active outside canoeing and camping and taking the dogs to the river during the summer. White gets too dirty too fast with my activities, so I usually stay away from it.

I freaked out Monday when I realized I wasn't supposed to wear white anymore!! It definitely still feels like summer to me! I will continue to wear white pants for a while... not sure about shoes.. Definitely love "winter white" (creams) year round. Beautiful.
