Dark cropped, cuffed jeans, an orange Tshirt that says, "Zip faster - I hear banjos!" from my recent ziplining gig in the Appalachians, and a pair of sandals I bought in Germany last year.

It was nearly 90 degrees today - I couldn't believe it!

Whew! 50 degrees here!

I wore jeans and a cable knit sweater from Old Navy and my black Harley boots.

Believe me, I am ready to break out the sweaters and boots. I actually did that last week, because we had a "cold snap" with temps from the 30s at night to the 50s during the day. That is really bizarre for this early in the season - but then that was the same system that collided with hurricane Sandy and delivered FOUR FEET of snow to my husband who was working up in West Virginia (well, he still is stuck up there!).

Anyway, we have four seasons here - Early Summer, Summer, Late Summer and Christmas. Usually from December thru March the highs are in the 50s - though we do get a dusting of snow a time or two most years, and we nearly ALWAYS get an ice "event" - usually just in time for Easter!

My favorite month is November - at least I can usually start wearing boots, scarves and sweaters even if it's pushing the envelope a bit. My next favorite month is January - I love the cold, blustery days, and wet, rainy evenings when I can snuggle up at home in sweats and big woolly socks, with a cup of hot tea and a dog at my feet.

Of course, I like it so much because I can only do that for about two months out of the year! I wouldn't want to do it for six months!

Extremely baggy, soft, broken in jeans and a T-shirt - I worked in my yard for much of the day.

Tomorrow I am going to dress cuter though - I have a busy day!

Superman pajama pants and a sweater... I actually went to a bar dressed like this tonight. Luckily, it's my favorite little dive bar filled with only locals and pj pants are definitely a normal sight

Today - much better!

Cropped black pants, ballet flats, a long slim patterned shirt, with a short luscious buff colored sweater over it with a wide collar. Vintage brooch on the collar (from the thirties) and vintage earrings. WOOHOO!

I'm not getting dressed at all. I'm staying in my pj's all day.
