Have you been professionally sized (not by Victoria Secret, but a quality bra/lingerie outfit)?

And do you wear bras that you KNOW are ill fitting?

Yes, I have. I'm a 36GG.

Yes, I do. They're cheaper and easier to find.

Yes -- I have, and yes, I do -- because the ones for my size are not natural looking, and the whole rigging makes me feel trussed up like a Thanksgiving turkey.

I finally bought a bra not too long ago in my size and spent around $80 on it. I was so excited to put it on, but when I did I found that the bra pushed my boobs under my armpits (which is NOT where they want to go), made them look like torpedos and the straps started well above my collarbones which meant I couldn't wear anything but a turtleneck.

I now refer to it as my 5 point harness.

my band size is a little tight at times (depending on the bra) but the cup is fine.

Yes, I have. I am a 34H or so.

I do have a few bras that are too stretched out. Or too big in the band, or small in the cups that I have outgrown, but I am between sizes at the moment, so I am waiting a little longer. I don't go too far off of my size, because at the end of the day, there isn't going to be a size in a "normal" store that fits well enough to make do.

Never had a fitting and yes, I wear "ill fitting" bras. The ones I've found that give the best support are underwire and they are so darn uncomfortable so I hardly wear those. I don't wear a bra at home, only when I leave the house, so I can't wait to get home and take the dang thing off.

Yes I have and yes I am.

Was just thinking this week that it's time to get refitted, as I've been getting in shape and some of my favs are a bit stretched out.. JCPenney has women trained to fit bras- at least they do when they have the "events" for bra fitting. They have always been really helpful and know their trade. I've also been happy with Dillard's bra fitters.

A well-fitted bra shouldn't feel uncomfortable, XX. Although I like to remove as much as possible when at home, too. Which reminds me that I have two shmatas that I should replace, as well as my bras!

I think most women prolly wear ill-fitted bras. It's amazing the difference the proper size makes. Especially when one is... err, uh... mature
