I only really buy hoodies there. I'm pretty muscular and have a very heavy frame with super-broad shoulders and all that; most of their stuff is way, way too small on me.

H&M is in the same category, I am afraid...
You have clearly not been into an HM store, have you? I have been shopping at H&M ( or Hennes & Mauritz ) for 40 years if you count my parents dragging me and my sister there.
Yes, long before they came to The USA. They have clothes for all ages, stating at babies. I sure as hell don't buy clothes more suited for a 100 pound 17 year old anymore. lol
H&M is perfect if you want the basics for cheap. Nobody is shopping there for the quality. Maybe at one time, many moons ago. But not anymore.

They just opened a store in the mall in Paducah, Ky. yesterday. Didn't know much about it though

I don't shop there often but I do get things there. Hard to beat the prices for blank tshirts for the pool or working out, fitted sweat pants and the occasional cheap sweatshirt or beach sweater. No, Target doesn't have anything that fits me that well in these categories. Also, HM was two train stops away from where I lived the last 3 years (just moved) and nothing else comparable was as close.

I think the store is just for the under 30 crowd that follow trends. I say good for them. They can be fashionable for a low price.

Not for oldsters like me, to be sure. I like fewer clothes with better quality.

I've got stuff I bought at H&M when they opened the first US outpost in NYC and still wear it.

If you take care of your clothes, they will last.

I go there sometimes, mainly for t-shirts of the kind intended as streetwear rather than underwear. While I really like their shirts, I found that the jeans fit me weird--unfortunately not until I got them home and wore than for a few days.

At least they were cheap, though.

Its a weird store. I see it as a poor man's Calvin Klein or Raf Simmons. It probably does not even deserve that much credit.

My real issue is that the sizes are very small. Even for the European designers they're trying to copy, the sizes are small.

Its fast fashion but you would do a lot better to spend a few more dollars and buy the real thing. Even if you are going to throw it away in 6 months.
