try a little lemon juice. It's a natural lightening agent that some swear by, but be careful if you have sensitive skin, it may burn a little. If you are too sensitive for straight lemon juice, delute with water, or instead of leaving it on over night, apply it and leave it for 10-20 minutes and rinse off.

You do not have icepick scars they are the ones caused by cystic acne. Just leave them alone so the red can go away. If you keep putting a bunch of different stuff on them they are not going to settle down but be continually stirred up. Just cover them and forget about them and they will be gone.

it would, over time, help to fade them. Nothing will be instantaneous.
Apply with cotton ball, either straight if your skin can take it, or wet the cotton ball first to dilute the lemon juice. You'll need to experiment a bit to see what works for you. Some people leave it on overnight, some need to rinse it off after a period of time due to stinging.

Have you tried red light therapy? It's a natural treatment, you can do it at home and it's very helpful for skin problems, scars and skin healing.

Proactive is advertising a dark spot fading product on TV lately. I do not know if it works, but in general their products seem pretty good.

Neem oil products help. They smell horrible, but neem oil helps soothe skin conditions.
