I have seen it with my own eyes. Ugly butter faces with a ton of zits turn into decent looking women once they discover MAC.

Average and above average women are benefiting as well. I'd say my face is average but when I do my make up properly I look above average.

Do you find having an attractive face or having an attractive physique is more common? I mean generally in the gender you are attracted to, but also your own gender. Like, are there more people with attractive to beautiful facial features but fewer with rockin' bods, or vice versa?

I would say for me a really beautiful face is a lot rarer than a great body (which is more controllable. You can beautify yourself with makeup, but there's less room to move than working out etc). However, there are quite a few women with fairly attractive faces. I don't really scrutinize people's bodies in detail, but I think it's true, porn stars and celebs do create unrealistic standards.

This is not a discussion about which you think is more important.
Face is more important than body for a long term real relationship e.g. eventually getting married
anyone who says body over face is looking for a hookup and nothing serious

the face is where those beautiful eyes are = the windows to the soul

I see so many people men and women with attractive faces..and then the bodies, not so much. I think it is more common because a really attractive face is given to you with no effort on your part, but very few people can achieve physical perfection or beauty with no effort. So you see the pretty and handsome faces more.

Just a guess, it seems a nice body is more common. It seems there are more chicks with a nice body and OK face than there are chicks with an nice face and OK body. I don't know why. I don't even know if it is true. It just could be me, my preferences or my perception.

Apart from NYC and LA, where you have a glut of actors, models, and people who get cosmetic surgery as a hobby, in most places, you have the bell curve.
The majority of people will be average in looks or average in build. Fewer will be very attractive or very unattractive. Fewer still will be hideous or drop-dead beautiful

But to find someone with a 9-10 face AND a 9-10 body is the rarest thing (in the real world of course).

How often do we hear "It's a shame she's so heavy, because she has such a pretty face" or "she has a slammin' body but she's a butter face." How many times have we seen a very attractive guy, from behind, and then he turned around and we've gasped silently at his unfortunate face? Those almost extreme combinations seem to be very common, as common as the "average" on the bell curve.
this is so true.

Really? I actually see this case a lot, and I live in LA. It seems most common with Latina girls here in LA, very pretty, sexy faces, but a lot of them happen to be heavy.

It all depends if there is a connection with the person if it gets personal.

If it's just looking, then both have an important weighting. For me it's a 60/40 split. The face is important 60% and the body 40%. Personality 100% important.
