Are we talking about colors or overall style? Color wise, I'd stay away from jewel tones (royal blue, plum, reds, emerald). You can do pastels like mint and powder blue, but you're going to probably want to bring in a neutral like white or black to offset them (or not if you really love color and feel you can pull it off). Style wise, the shoes are perfect for 50s/Rockabilly style clothing. You know, hoop skirts, cat-eye glasses, 3/4s length cardigans over blouses. Very feminine, flirty, and vintage.

Wear with jeans, capris.....whatever! If you have a dress or skirt in any neutral, (black, blue, or brown, would be especially good), they would lend a pop of color and interest! I like them!

Perhaps a grey pencil skirt and a nice cream colored top?

This is perfect. I think if you follow the suggestions in this post you can rock these shoes for a long time. Pick up some of those cute cardigans with the bedazzling, go to a thrift store. I also see some really interesting jewelry brouches on your cardigan or a fitted waist length blazer over a little dress. Very cute shoes....get a few pairs in various colors.
