What does "cool & dry" on a label of a dress shirt mean? Does it mean dry the shirt in some cool way, instead of using a dryer? Thanks!

It depends on where the label is -- sounds more like a name label than a care tag label.

That indicates it's appropriate to wear while drinking a martini.

That is NOT a care label... probably a marketing phrase for the fabric used.

It means it's a brand name. Cool & Dry is a company that makes male polo shirts.

It means that sweat will not stick to you and your shirt...it will "wick' sweat away and allow it to dry quickly, so you don't have those nasty sweat marks all over you! Sportswear (golf/tennis, etc..) clothing is made this way for your comfort!
You can wash and dry as you would any other garment.

If sweat will not stick to you and your shirt, what will sweat stick to? The air?

Are you sure "Cool & Dry is a company that makes male polo shirts"?

It is a dress shirt, and the brand is "Geoffrey Beene" (below the "Cool & Dry" tag, not shown in the picture).

Well, I've searched Google and Amazon and it doesn't seem like it has anything to do with either the brand or the condition, but it appears on a lot of polo shirts. Why don't you try calling the manufacturer and letting us know?
