I am wearing a dress like this to a wedding. Mine has short sleeves on both sides. The dress is light grey with a subtle gold shimmer. I'm not sure about the best way to accessorize it--like shoe & handbag style and color, and jewelry.

Any suggestions?

Long chain earrings, wide cuff bracelet, bright envelope clutch in a blue tone, nude pump, strong red lip and keep the eye simple.

Thanks, weezycom.
What jewelry metal? Gold, silver, or something else?

Silver earrings.

I'd also try wearing black or red heels instead.

I have both, so I'll see which looks more visually interesting. I want to have a very striking look to the accessories, since the dress's color is so understated.

Also, what hairstyle do you think would look good with that neckline? My hair is long--bra-strap length.

I think a French twist would look best.

A grey clutch and grey high-heeled shoes would be a very sophisticated all-grey look.

I don't think you need much jewelry. Maybe just a bracelet in silver or pearl.

Hair should be back in the front, so the dress's neckline can show.

Thanks Elle and Mentat. I like the idea of hair away from the face to show the neckline. I don't usually wear my hair that way, so that'll be a new look for me.

Since the dress is so muted, I would make my accessories colorful. Both shoes and the evening bag. Jewelry is tricky. Depends on your skin tone!

These hairstyles would be fantastic with that dress.
