Apparently those workout pants make nearly any woman's ass and legs look good (as told to me by a girl I went out with recently). I never really thought about it, but it all makes sense now. Women at the gym have never looked better than they do these days in my opinion. Now from a man's perspective, that's a good thing, but is it mostly the pants?
Do any of you women wear these workout pants and is there a noticeable different in how your ass & legs look? Is it a confidence booster? How long has this phenomenon been going on?
I don't buy it. My theory is I don't need 65 dollar shorts to make my work out better. I don't feel the need to look cute in the gym, my tshirts and off brand Nike dry fit shorts work fine for me. I suppose for some it's a confidence booster if they feel like they have to make a fashion statement at the gym it my theory is my ass looks the way it does because I work it out,I don't rely on a pair of work out pants.
Here in Dallas, the girls you see in lulu lemon work out clothes don't buy them to work out in, they buy them to prance around in. When you don't have a single hair out of place, I know you didn't work out.

I don't think fat women in yoga pants will make their body look any better.
The look it creates is the same as any yoga pants.
I think they are pulling a fast one on us because the prices are outrageous. There is no way a piece of clothing meant to work-out in should cost $100.
I love lulumon because of the color selection and their yoga pants look a little more pulled together than many other places which makes them great for running errands but not looking like a slob.
Anytime you see photos of the real yogis and yoga practitioners in India, like B.K.S. Iyengar, they are often wearing gym shorts and a T-shirt. If there's anything yoga is NOT about, it's the appearance of your clothes.
