I shower daily and always use eye lotion, face lotion, and body lotion after my shower. I put lotion on all my skin from forehead to toes - neck, boobs, tummy, arms, back, butt, legs, feet - everything. I also put hand lotion on every time I wash my hands. In addition, I'll often reapply lotion to one part or all of my body again sometime before bedtime.

This has been my habit since childhood and over the years I've gotten comments on my soft skin but also astonishment that I use lotion daily. So, I'm wondering from the posters here - mainly women but men are welcome too - how often do you use lotion and do you cover your whole body or only certain parts?

I lotion my face after every shower (that's three times a day, morning, after lunch workout, and before bed). I also lotion my legs and arms if I am going to wear shorts.
I use #70 sunblock on my face too when I go outside.

I thought everyone uses lotion everyday? Cocoa butter is a staple for me after every shower. I might not use lotion everywhere (if I don't have enough), but I do use it on the most visible and important areas that are exposed such as my arms, my face and neck, & my legs.

I use lotion on my whole body rarely. My skin is very soft and I do exfoliate it. I am sure to moisturize my tattoos every day and usually when I do that I just spread the lotion elsewhere as well.

I have been using moisturizer with spf 30 I think on my face in the evenings.

Do what you do. I don't think you can use too much lotion. I would protect my skin if I were going outside, however.

From what I've read you should NOT use a moisturizer w/an SPF at bedtime!

I lotion my arms and legs/feet after I shower, and I lotion my hands everytime I wash them and I wash them a lot. I never lotion my face however, I've never gotten into the habit of doing that.

Well here is one thing I pulled up:

Is It Bad to Use Moisturizer with Sunscreen at Bedtime?

Hmm. Looks like I need to go shopping for moisturizer. I only have one. Well, I do have two but one does not smell like anything and I don't like that.

I should use it all over, but it's my legs, butt and arms that get the most attention. It's not like I'm big and need acres of coverage, but lotion (or tanning creams, or anything like that) annoys me. I use it, but I'm mad that I have to. What a pain.
Of course, my face gets moisturizer any time it's washed.....depending how may times a day I need to reapply makeup. Usually 2 times...in the morning, and at night.
