As for fashions: platform shoes. Excessively thick ones look clownish/trashy. Boyfriend Jeans look sloppy.

How about "trends" in general involving everything from clothing to wall color and whatever else is in between. Most of what is considered "fashionable" looks hideous at best to me and there is nothing more cost effective than white or antique white walls with color brought into the room from accessories that are easily replaced or moved from room to room when you get bored with it.

Putting words or names together that are meant to be completely separate and BAN the word D***(*Bag and quit with the gangnam garbage already, blech.

I certainly don't care what other people wear, but I also work in a public library... so for the sake of my eyes, which are forced to look at countless folks as I sit at the reference desk, I do have a list of "wish they'd stop already!"

Some of these have already been mentioned, but I'd like to see the following trends go away: Low-riding skinny jeans (gives them stumpy legs, LOL), fake glasses, gym/yoga pants outside of the gym, "mullet dresses," and ruched tops/dresses.

Shirts with embellishments -- ruffles, bows, 3D flowers, sparkly things, etc.

Skinny jeans.

Uggs.

Crocs.

Ok, many would say that Uggs and Crocs are already way out as a fashion trend. Then why do people still wear them? Maybe it's because I'm in Maine. We tend to be a tad but behind many other areas in the country...
