I'm seeing lots of sequins and LOVE them!

I've gotten a couple of sequined scarves, which gives me lots of options - no overkill. I especially love contrasting looks: rugged jeans, tee and a sequined scarf w/boots.

I also bought a Michael Kors sequined top that has the cut of a simple tee. Love it with jeans or a pencil skirt.

That being said, because sequins can be 'loud' I don't like them on clothing items that are already complicated or dressy.

What about the rest of you? Do you wear sequins? Any news ways of wearing them?

Just like tiaras, sequins go with everything!
I wore sequins years before they became trendy.

I'm like a fish...I'm attracted to shiny, sparkly things.

I love sequins. Surely like anything people can go overboard with them, but in general they're nice. I really love these boots they've been selling; pink, black and purple colors with sequins. Only after one trip outside, they'd probably be history.

I just hate when people call them "sequences."

I first heard this in high school, when girls would describe their prom dresses and say "and it has sequences all along here...."

Then in adulthood I hear grown women saying this often. "I bought this great shirt that has sequences all over the front..."

I'm like "you mean sequins, right? because I'm not sure what sequences look like on a shirt."

Like alcohol, sequins are best enjoyed in moderation.

Cannot stand anything like that, not much for new, shiny, pretty, should be very limited even on children's clothing, trendy anything.
Comfortable, affordable, practical, fits well, looks good without all the "look at me I wear shiny things" attention.
