Ebay has new shoes at half or less of stores. May be last year's style but so what? Look at the seller rating first.

you know, the same boots from last year are still on sale today at full price. Classic styles keep getting re manufactured.

Checked the DSW website and their prices were up there too, but maybe I need to go in person too lol.

You are also shopping for boots the wrong time of year

I found a really cute pair of tall caramel colored Nine West leather boots at the DSW here in Scottsdale over the summer for about $30 (they were 75% off) and another cute pair of tall Steve Madden riding boots from Ross for $19.99.

Maybe you can try Zappos or catch a Macy's sale.

Really $60 for a pair of boots is expensive? You must be really cheap.

Never said it was expensive..just that its too expensive FOR ME. I make under 1,000/month and my student loans have to last until at least next year.

I never find anything good at Ross. I wonder if its the areas I shop in. Where in scottsdale is that DSW? I periodically go up there so I can check it out sometime.

Pear martini-I have gone there in person. Nothing under 60 . their sales are no good anymore. the location with a better selection is 45 min. away and I'm hardly ever on that area of town.

I found my boots at the DSW on Shea at the 101. But there is a bigger store on Tatum at the 101.

And finding things at Ross is all about timing (usually weekday mornings)

Nordstrom Rack also had tons of great boots at great prices but that was also over the summer.

Try catching the Macy's sale. You should be able to find a good pair but this time of year expect to pay $60+
