They're jealous of this fabulous fashion accessory that only us visually impaired get the privilege of sporting. Personally, I see glasses as more of a ball and chain than a privilege, but I guess imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

Same here. Luckily for me, my vision is okay enough that I don't have to wear my glasses all the time.
I have friends who own "fashion glasses" and I just shake my head.
I don't get it at all. I put off getting glasses until I really couldn't see where I was going. Now that I have them I don't mind them, but I can't imagine getting them for fun.
I've worn glasses for all but 8 years of my 63 years but I wonder lately if I will be lucky enough to keep what little vision I have left. I just can't imagine anyone wanting to pretend they have poor eyesight.
