Back in the late 80's, my daughter and her friend got sent home from HS for wearing men's long johns (mine). They wore underwear under them but nothing over them. Luckily this was a fashion trend that didn't catch on.

teenagers will be teenagers let them wear what they want. if thats the style then theyll wanna wear it. i get not understanding why someone would wear that but we were all teens once & times have definately changed. i think i would rather have my child wearing something odd, but that is her style that she likes, than barley wearing anything & getting a bad reputation.

The only time I've seen something like this is girls wearing boxer shorts over leggings or something when working out, out for a run, at the gym. Over jeans I think it just sounds horrible! But I haven't seen that around here.

I remember when I was in high school it somehow became popular for guys to wear shorts over pajama pants. I saw it a lot with those TRIPP shorts that have all the chains and studs on them and the big cargo pockets. I thought it looked silly.

Also at some point I used to wear my big wool kilt over jeans because it was nice and warm in the winter, especially since I had to walk to school through the snow and the classrooms were all really drafty. I bet it looked silly but I didn't care, I was warm!

Well, of course you haven't... this thread is two years old and that fad passed long ago...

Oops, I didn't realize this was an old thread either.

Livewire, I sometimes wear corsets over t-shirts, but not over just any old T like I've been seeing everyone else do, they're usually nicer, dressier. I sometimes wear them over tank tops or a nice camisole. Most of the corsets these days are fashion corsets, they're just meant to look pretty and most of them aren't actual corsets.

Wow, this thread sure has legs! But at least they are covered by jeans AND boxers

Seriously, folks, the worst I saw was a teenage girl at an area amusement park wearing shorts with " I like it fast" on the bumm. I pointed them out to my daughters so we could shake our heads in unison.

What is it with theme parks and really trashy clothing?
