I say heck yes! I love wearing t-shirts that fit snugly/compliment my chest and arms. I also love my Levi's 527 that leave little to the imagination (package huggers for sure) . they start to taper at the knee and are boot cut (and not so coincidentally look great when I'm wearing boots [almost always unless I'm wearing shorts, that's not hot lol]).
Anyway, I guess as a guy I don't really have to put up with gawky stares all the time when I'm looking particularly good (women are much more subtle in their glances). Do you feel like dressing "hot" leads people to draw false conclusions about what kind of person you are?
There's a time to flaunt and a time to put away the hotness and focus on portraying yourself as something other than a love machine. The trick is figuring out when to do which.
A guy who is appropriately dressed for the occasion, be it a suit and tie, fatigues or jeans and a T-shirt, can be quite attractive. I thought that the guy(s) taking down my neighbor's tree a couple of years ago were pretty hot. Why? Because they were skilled in their profession, wearing appropriate attire and they weren't looking for a date. Frankly, I'd pass on a guy who was wearing jeans which left little to the imagination.
My observations lead me to believe women are the biggest critics of other women who aren't dressed modestly. "Skank" gets thrown around a lot, but the same girls throwing it around seem to think it isn't skanky when they are dressed the same way.

This^^^.
As a guy you will probably never know how "vulnerable" it can make a woman feel depending upon the situation she finds herself in at times. Far too many men think that a woman wearing certain clothing is an "invitation" versus just being confident in one's looks.
There's a difference between love and sex. If you're looking for a one night stand, flaunt away. If you're looking for a long term relationship, probably not.
Whenever I see a great looking guy in those Jeans....I think, what an idiot to wear something that must be very uncomfortable. All that "stuff" must be fake.
Women, it seems, are expected to be idiots when it comes to tight clothing.
I have to wonder what they wear to funerals, etc.
