Hi,
Does anyone here know if you can wear Uggs in the snow?
I've never had a pair of Uggs.

Thanks

Sure. Sheepskin keeps feet warm even if it is wet...wool does the same thing, I believe. I don't think there is a man-made (and non-biodegradable, too btw) material which can beat wool, down and sheepskin for warmth.

I do a lot of work outside in woods and in my yard in the wintertime, and the uggs are the best pair of winter boots. I had to walk like a mile in the horrible blizzard a couple of years ago, and those uggs saved my life.

My feet were warm and comfortable.

I'd waterproof them first or they'll look stained and nasty if you encounter any salt or calcium.

Ditto on the waterproofing idea. My dd's Uggs look awful after she wore them last year in the snow and wet. We sprayed them but not enough, apparently.

Yes, but they get wet and they don't have a lot of traction in the sole for snow. Go with Sorel boots for serious snow.

Are Sorel boots expensive everywhere? Or is there something in comparison cheaper?
Thanks.

Apparently, they got rid of Endless and it's now Amazon

It depends on what your definition of expensive is. But also consider how much use you'll get out of them, and for how long. They could very well end up paying for themselves.

Ladies, please don't wear uggs unless you are still in high school

Or even if you are in high school, in my opinion, lol.

They are losing their popularity, apparently, which was not soon enough.
