I worked with a very well regarded woman for about 6 years. She owned multiple companies and worked in politics. She even had a personal shopper and dressed very well.

She always wore a scrunchy.

So that is what they called her in blogs and media... "scrunchy."

It a shamed that a successful woman can be moniker-ed by an accessory... but yes, they are that bad.

If her personal shopper does not care about her hair accessories, she should hire a personal stylist since she can afford it.

A scrunchie is so out of place anywhere. It doesn't go with clubbing clothes, your gym/running outfit or your cocktail dress, even if it is velvet or lace with sparkles.

I really don't think she cared. The coolness of not caring, against the uncoolness of the scrunchie kinda balanced things out.

I didn't know they made expensive hair scrunchies? I usually use them just to get my hair out of my face when I'm washing my face and they are like two dollars from a drugstore. Is that an expensive scrunchie????

I thought "scrunchies" went out of style years ago, so I'd think she looks stupid with that damn thing in her hair.

They went out?
I still wear them.
How would someone be able to tell the difference between a scrunchy and a rubber band?

Scrunchies are good if you wear ponytails a lot since they're far less damaging than regular elastic ponytail holders. But I agree, very 1992.

What is an "expensive scunchy" and what sets it apart from an average, everyday scrunchie? Is it made of the finest silk and threaded with gold???

Then they should be back any day now if it's been 20 years - sorta like bell bottom jeans, "peanut" jeans, miniskirts, long skirts, peace signs, platform shoes, boots, and the godawful decor of the 70's....the list goes on....all I can think of is that Laugh In would be SO in style these days...
