I don't know what the girls call them now - I call them plumber's pants - they just barely had a crotch and butt in them, rode way low on the hips, a zipper about an oonch long. It's what the girls wear now. Whatever is the opposite of highriders, lol!
Then they should be back any day now if it's been 20 years - sorta like bell bottom jeans, "peanut" jeans, miniskirts, long skirts, peace signs, platform shoes, boots, and the godawful decor of the 70's....the list goes on....all I can think of is that Laugh In would be SO in style these days...
Isn't Laugh-In more like 40+ years ago?
I think of Seinfeld and Kids In the Hall and Melrose Place when I think of 90's fashion. Scrunchies, mini-skirt suits, body waves and matte brown lipstick!!!

Annika, you missed my wild attempt at humor there - my point was that it ALL comes back around - don't throw those Scrunchies, they may be the next big "fad" that the next generation discovers. If only I had held onto my grandmother's big costume jewelry and crazy buttons, I'd be right back in the mix. As it is, I am grateful for jeans and sweatshirts, which never go out of style - and ball caps.
This reminds me of the banana clip in the 80's?
I'm not a fan of the scrunchy anymore. There are other ways to pull your hair back that I think are nicer but everyone is different.
Oh holy smokes guys, thanks! I found this real neat scrunchie at a local accessory store called "ARDENE" and it was about $12! It had some neat bobbles on it and a few shiny decorations but I was like "Oh Lord... if I buy this and do my hair with it, what will the boys think??" I didn't want to give the wrong impression you know, so they think I'm one of those shallow girls that spends all my money on fashion accessories.
But if I can do my hair with one of those and go out to the bar, and meet boys, I'll be super happy! I see so many girls up here in Canada wearing them at the bar and I guess that's why they have boyfriends and I don't!
How the heck would anyone know how much it costs? Especially a guy? lol
You mean they don't make Gucci, Fendi, Prada or LV scrunchies these days ????
Lunacy.
