The tattoo artist should've counseled you on what to expect. Ribs are one of the most painful tattoo locations. I'm stoic and the rib area on my back piece was pretty uncomfortable.

Looks nice! It'll heal up quickly, because I'm sure you'll take great care of it.

My friend just got a script on his ribs too and he said it was the worst decision he's ever made lol.

My spine was not too bad. Ribs were more sensitive.
